The Garston Lodge offers 4 Bedrooms with double beds, and shared bathroom facilities. 1 Family Room with a double bed and single bunks with shared bathroom facilities. 2 Bedrooms with queen beds and private ensuites. All rooms share the lounge and kitchen facilities in the Lodge. Our rooms are that of a traditional road side hotel, small but cosy, please keep this in mind when booking rooms. Complimentary tea and coffee is served from the shared kitchen.

Nestled between the Mataura River, Fairlight Station, and at the bottom of the Nevis Mountain Range, Garston is home to many iconic outdoor activities. Stay and Play in Garston with fly fishing, hunting, 4WD, Around the Mountains cycle track, the Nevis cycle track and the famous Kingston Flyer Steam Train.
Food & Drinks
The Garston Lodge is a renovated historical hotel previously known as the Garston Hotel. The old Garston Hotel Pub is no longer operational, and is currently closed. For this reason food and drinks are not available for purchase on site. Takeaway food & coffee can be brought from The Coffee Bomb located across the road from the lodge from 7am - 4pm. Guests can contact the Athol Shop direct for hot meals and catering located in Athol 8 km south of the lodge. The Garston Lodge has a shared basic kitchenette available to guests for preparing meals, along with tea and coffee facilities.
